The Store
Battlezone Games has been open since 2004 promoting fun and games for people of all ages. It started by being focused heavily on Magic: the Gathering and has been steadily expanding it's range of offered products. We offer play space where anyone can come in to play whatever game they may wish to play with their friends. The store changed owners in 2008 and is now owned by Jeff Vandenberg and Kevin Dougherty.
The Owners
Jeff Vandenberg is a software engineer by day, game junkie by night and is generally willing to play most any game. He's recently become a DCI judge, and is working on becoming a level 2 judge. He just needs to slay another 3 sloppy players before he gets the xp to advance. He can usually be found judging FNM, running drafts, playing board games, and playing games at other organizations game nights.
Kevin Dougherty is known to most people in town, one way or another. He enjoys most games, though does often find himself sucked into computer games. We forgive him for that. He currently handles the Dungeons and Dragons Delve Night on Wednesday nights.
The Employees
Matt Foster has been active in the local Magic scene since probably the first day he was able to say the word Magic. He has been working for the store since it first opened and has been a very helpful resource.
Steve Boatwright is our WarHammer guru. He knows the armies, and is able to help anyone get into the game. He's also recently become involved with the local HeroClix community.
